![]() I would be inclined to get some smaller ones for a prototyping phase. If this is going to be a full sized scoreboard you're going to need some big expensive power hungry displays and a supply to drive them. Only then is it time to put it together and even then, it's often best to add the components one at a time and test. In this way, you'll eventually know how to write the necessary code and wire each component. You can do that and have it print the results to the serial monitor for testing purposes before you've even taken delivery of the seven segment display elements.Īnother sub-project would simply be wiring up one display and controlling it. This project also aims at providing a user friendly interface to the users to let them easily use the Scoreboard so that the lack of knowledge in technology. ![]() ![]() You should certainly think about the project as a whole, but when it comes to the build phase, try to break it up into as many little pieces as you can manage.įor example, you're going to need some mechanism to tell the system to set the numbers on the scoreboard. Don't make the usual beginner mistake and jump right into building an electronic cricket scoreboard. ![]()
